A 24 hour workshop on how to create mini-lessons, based on the use of Bloom's Taxonomy and Active Learning, sponsored by the Education department at the University of British Columbia.

After completion of 36 hours in courses offered by the Scinet High Performance Computer Consortium at University of Toronto. These courses included machine learning implementations, parallel computing in python and pandas and numpy.

Mitacs

The Faculty of Graduate and Posdoctoral Studies at the University of British Columbia provided me with opportunities for self development in areas of Business Management, Conflict Resolution, Time Management and Writing, among others. Many of these programs were sponsored by the Mitacs program, and a certificate of participation was provided for some of these courses.
